The board of directors refers collectively to all the directors responsible for the affairs of a company or organization. Each director is generally classified as an inside director, someone with another position within the company or organization, or an independent director.
It is rather uncommon for directors to publicize their duties on blogs; however, some inside directors of prominent companies are known for their blogging. Scott McNealy, a founder and former CEO of Sun Microsystems that remains its Chairman of the board of directors, famously keeps a “The Secret Diary of Scott G. McNealy” blog.
