A fiduciary account is a statement of all the financial actions of an executor or trustee in the management of its responsibilities on behalf of a beneficiary or principle. The statement would include records of received and distributed funds for a given estate or trust.

A fiduciary account is generally submitted to a court to for official approval of the actions of the fiduciary under the laws and regulations that govern the particular type of scenario, such as the guidelines for trust management.
