Money Market Etf

What is a money market ETF? What are ETFs? What are money market accounts?

Money market accounts are basically investment accounts managed in a very conservative manner, largely invested in Treasury bills and other low risk investments, that allow the holders to draw money from account using a checkbook. ETF stands for exchange traded fund and refers to portfolios of investments that trade like a stock.

In 2008, WisdomTree proposed creating money market ETFs that would invest in foreign currencies such as the Brazilian Real and Chinese Yuan while maintaining the emphasis on low risk investments.
