A story paper, also known as a “boys’ weekly,” is a periodical featuring stories accompanies by illustrations that are primarily aimed at children. They were most popular prior to World War II.
Among the most well-known example of a story paper was Boy’s Own Paper, which was published from 1879 until 1967.
